Built and Executed the business plan to take this small 4 office/$40million revenue broker dealer to 28 offices to $1 billion market cap company by developing industry relationships and diversifying the product offering

Senior Managing Director, STANFORD FINANCIAL GROUP, Miami, FL, 2000-2005
Managed a Private Equity portfolio that was $75 million and grew the portfolio to $500 million by developing the strategy, recruiting the team, putting the processes in place, focusing on the target and executing the plan. Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, analyzing, performing due diligence, structuring, and managing private debt/equity investments from inception to liquidity in some cases.

Consolidated the very successful Latin America Region with the US region and grew the business 30% while reducing redundancy and overhead. Grew the combined region from $900 million to over $1.3 billion in revenues.

President Latin America, CELLSTAR CORPORATION, Miami, FL, 1993-1999
After successfully completing an Initial Public offering in 1993, went into Latin America to develop International Operations by utilizing relationships with established US Telecom Companies. Opened up in seven countries and grew the region to over $770 million in revenues, number one out of four regions, most profitable in the company.
 “Greenfield”, established operations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, as well as regional head office in Miami.
 Negotiated with governments, negotiated with the telephone companies, recruited the teams, and built a highly successful and profitable business.

President, CELLSTAR CORPORATION / CELULAR EXPRESS, SA, Mexico D.F., Mexico, 1990-1993
Went into Mexico, negotiated an agreement with Telmex utilizing the US relationship with SBC and built from “Greenfield” a $250 million Mexico operation from the ground up with multiple locations in the country.
 Developed the “Value Added” supplier model utilized in the wireless industry today.
 Negotiated the agreements with Motorola and Nokia which were key in developing this business.

Integrated the two merged companies and grew to $100 million in revenues from $12 million
