Nothing Inspirational

I spent last week in Toronto with my friends of Wireless Trade Group.  This trip inspired an article which I am writing about getting cash into your business.  So often entrepreneurs try different things, and get going on different projects which drain cash from their companies.  If a company is having cash flow problems, it is time to review and scrap some of these which are not producing.  It time to focus on what brought us to where we are which is our core business.

I also started a new book about dealing with change and it is a little weird, but considering the times we are in it is ok.  The bottom line is situations and circumstances are what we think, and what we think is based on our experiences.  If we want to change what we are experiencing, change what we are thinking for example, "my world is over" or "wow, a new beginning".  Anyway the author writes in a conversational type writing which is strange, but the book is making his point.

My family is headed to the Keys on Thursday with our cousin, Brazos who is an amazing story.  Brazos is a kid who inspires everyone he meets.  He is in his 20's and recently went totally deaf, because of a desease, this same desease has caused him to be blind in one eye, and he has to live with this horrible desease which is always attacking him, but he kicks its' a-s.  The guy is a great kid and really enjoys life.  I am looking forward to spending a long weekend with him. 

I will come back from the Keys with some amazing pictures of the sunsets and skies.

Noise, Question it out!

Most people know that there are tons of opportunity in this wonderful world of ours.  As the world is going through a very tough time with our global recession, there is still tons of opportunities.  That is the beautiful thing about our world, there is so much opportunity sometimes it can be too much.  All of this opportunity can become noise and clutter and confusion.  So how do you deal with all the noise and get to what you should focus on. 

My recommendation is to keep asking deeper and deeper questions.  Questions in the form of self talk or even talk to your creator.  The point is keep asking deeper and better questions and make sure you answer the questions.  Think about it, when you are tired and confused what better way to sort through the noise than to ask questions and get answers.  If at first you don't have the answer, ask a different question, and come back to it.  

Prayer, self talk, or whatever you want to call it is best done in a quiet place without being disturbed.  Take the time to sort through your opportunities, to ask questions, and filter out the noise.  Get clarity by asking questions.  Get answers by asking questions.  You have heard the saying if you want better answers, ask better questions.  This is so true. 

I recommend taking time everyday to filter out the noise and confusion of our lives by asking questions and praying to our creator.   Eventually, you will work your way to the opportunity that drives you and gives you passion.   The ultimate goal is to get past the noise and get to what drives you.  Once that happens, you will have perfect clarity.
